Auto Care Plus costs $1.99 a month or $7.99 a year, and both plans start with a 30 day free trial. If you would rather pay once, Lifetime is $24.99 and never renews. Prices shown are for the United States App Store; Apple converts them for other countries.

What you get
All three plans open the same app. There is no limited edition and no feature held back for a higher tier, so garages, autos, service notes, NHTSA recall checks, reminders, Calendar events, VIN Lookup, Siri and Shortcuts, search, iCloud sync, sharing, and export are in every plan. The app carries no advertising in any state, and there is no account to create, because your records go into your own iCloud account rather than onto a Moonwink Software server.
The 30 day trial
Monthly and Yearly both begin with a 30 day free trial, billed by Apple only if you stay past the thirty days. The trial is the whole app, not a sample of it, so you can enter your autos, log real service, and check recalls before deciding. Cancel in the App Store subscription settings before day thirty and you are not charged.
Family Sharing
All three products include Apple's Family Sharing, so one purchase covers your family group. That is separate from sharing an auto, which lets another iCloud user work on the same service history with you and works whether or not you are in the same family group.
Managing or restoring a plan
Open Settings inside the app to see the plan you are on, manage the subscription, or restore a purchase after a new install or a new device. Because purchases run through the App Store, restoring only needs the same Apple ID.
Existing Auto Care Plus users
Anyone whose first download predates 17 June 2026 keeps full access permanently at no cost, with nothing to buy and nothing to renew. That grant is detected from the original App Store purchase and is never withdrawn.
